Delene van Dyk
Delene van Dyk is a nurse therapist and nurse educator by profession. She runs her own consultancy practice focusing on training, development and mentorship of individuals and groups to understand human sexuality better and integrating it with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights work. Her work includes the prevention of HIV and Gender Based Violence, especially with regards to the needs to minorities and key populations.

Is a Counselling Psychologist whose big passion is journeying with clients on healing paths of self-acceptance, compassion, growth and mastery. She has a particular interest in working with people whose identities and relationships are off-centre of the mainstream - polyamorists and other kinds of non-monogamists, kinksters, LGBTQI+ individuals, gamers, and people who use drugs (active or recovering). She offers individual and relationship psychotherapy sessions for adults. She also works on an ad hoc basis as a psychosexual consultant in the NGO and private sector doing content production/input, research, reports, photography, videography, and facilitation.

Casey Blake is a Registered Counsellor, specialising in trauma, relationships, sexuality and gender, in private practice and HPCSA registered. She has recently completed her Masters in Psychology at The University of the Witwatersrand, researching how recent matriculants evaluate the sexual health education received in school.
Casey has been running a workshop series Tools for Having “The Talks” yes plural since 2014. These workshops are based on the international guidelines for sexuality education from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations (UNESCO).

Jason completed his Masters in Counselling Psychology, with academic colours. At the time, he was responsible for the supervision of SASHA helpline facilitators and his thesis explored "How concerns about erections are discursively treated and constructed on a sexual health helpline." His passion for how sexual health concerns can be best treated through therapeutic talk has continued. He has consulted extensively for both Life and Netcare hospitals with regards to the sexual health rehabilitation of stroke and spinal cord injured patients. He has lectured in Psychology for the South African Colleague of Applied Psychology and his particular emphasis is in post-modern approaches to Sexual Health concerns. He currently specialises Sex and Relationship Therapy in Kwazulu-Natal Durban. www.untwisted.co.za.
Dr. Padaruth Ramlachan

Dr Ramlachan received his MBCHB degree in 1985. He is the Chairman of the Durban Doctor’s Guild since 2000. He has served on numerous Boards and is the past Chairperson of SASHA KZN and is at present the President of the African Society for Sexual Medicine (ASSM). He is a part-time lecturer in the department of Family Medicine at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine. He received a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences (Sexual Health) from the University of Sydney and serves as a member of the Finance Committee of the ISSM. He received the Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM) from the European Union of Medical Specialist in 2012 and is the Director of the Newkwa Sexual Health and Wellness Centre.
